German Uboot`s operated in the cabo de palos area during WWI sinking a great number of cargo ships. As many as 7 or 8 shipwrecks are located within an area of 25 square miles considered as the operation center of german Uboots during WWI

ISLA DE GOMERA=MAGURIO=NADIR (Locayl named NARANJITO), Spanish 50m long cargo ship sunken 13 april 1943 with a load of oranges at 27m-44m depth. The deck of the ship sits at 30m deep while the very bottom of the hull rests at 45m. The full ship rests perfectly in place on a flat sandy bottom. Normal dive starts at the stern via a life line that plunges straight down to 30m. From there on divers normaly traverse the inside of the cargo deck to arrive at the bow. Going down to 45m from the bow from the outside dicvers will get an unforgetable view of the full bow of this from below.
